LMS Client Update – November 2021
What a year it has been!
We can all agree that the most recent Covid-19 lockdowns were probably the most stressful and challenging work periods for all of us in recent memory. It was the busiest LMS has ever been, and we are very proud of our team’s efforts and your resilience in the face of adversity and uncertainty.
Throughout the lockdowns, we had noticed an unprecedented demand for early finalisation of 2021 returns. One reason was to allow for refinances and loan pre-approvals to take advantage of historically low-interest rates to invest. Another key reason was to provide proof of eligibility for all available NSW and Federal Government Stimulus. We’re back in the office mostly, but providing staff flexibility of work from home days. This was a key learning from the lockdowns.
Work submission deadlines
We intend to manage our incoming workload in the lead-up to the Christmas period so that our team can have a well-deserved break and begin planning for the year ahead.
If you’d like your 2021 Tax Returns completed before Christmas, we ask that you submit all documentation to us by Friday 26th November 2021 .

If your tax papers are submitted after this date, we expect your returns will be finalised in early 2022.
Complimentary Business Success Workshops to be held in early 2022
If your taxes affairs are up to date; we encourage you to book a Complimentary 2022 Business Success Workshop.
The workshops are a free Zoom meeting with a Partner and Accounting team members to discuss strategies, set goals, and plan for business success in 2022.
Business success workshops will be held in January 2022 through to the end of February 2022.

Anticipated Christmas Shutdown
We will be closing on Thursday 23rd December 2021 at 5 pm and we will be back to work on Tuesday 11th January 2022
